Continuing on from yesterday, we’re reviewing Wilkins Automotive’s 2012 year and all of the wonderful happenings we had the pleasure to take part in! Here’s more from where we left off from Pt. 1:
July 2012: Baltimore love
Summer Social events continued for Wilkins Automotive and we began our annual display at the Baltimore Farmers Market too! Some vehicles were highlighted this July including the Buick Verano, which Peyton Manning gave his approval in this commercial.
August 2012: A Bunch of Random
We covered a lot this month! From Shark Week madness, Subaru Crosstrek excitement to tips for the Baltimore Grand Prix and following DIY Bloggers and GMC for a yard sale adventure! Lots of random things, but all in good taste!
It was so great to hear back from racecar driver Julia Landauer and help her campaign! We also covered the Baltimore Grand Prix! But the real excitement came with football season again! We highlighted the first season game for the Ravens and pushed for Baltimore Raven Torrey Smith to win the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week!
October 2012: Tragedy Strikes
Besides attending the GM e-Summit this year, it was a rather slow month. That was until our coast was hit by Hurricane Sandy. We sent out our info to those who may have been in need of maintenance attention, but the next month is when our dealership really got involved. Besides this, here is a heartwarming story from one of our Subaru customers, a dog-lover at heart.
November 2012: Honoring Those Who Serve and Those Who Lost
After a slow month, November had a lot going on! Wilkins Automotive supported a local car show honoring our veterans for Veterans Day. We also started promoting Subaru’s Share the Love event in which we are collecting childrens’ books for the USO and toys for Make A Wish foundation. The most remarkable of stories shared was from Jeremy Wilkins on his experience documenting the destruction from Hurricane Sandy along with Team Rubicon.
December 2012: Seasons Wishes
The last month was a month of thanks. Everyone at Wilkins Automotive was in “holiday mode”, but that never stops us from spreading good cheer! We were so thankful to receive a kind, personal review from a customer, we had to share it! We also shared tips for prepping your car for winter, a holiday wish from the owner, and some fun, festive videos we thought you’d enjoy.
We’re most definitely looking forward to what 2013 has in store for Wilkins Automotive and look forward to continuing our service to the Anne Arundel and Baltimore communities.
