Benefits to Buying Your Next Car at Wilkins Automotive

Buying a new vehicle is a big decision, and sometimes just the thought can cause a headache, before any planning has even begun! Not here. There are quite a few benefits of choosing Wilkins Automotive for your car buying experience, so I’m going to break this into a series of posts, starting with the sales experience we offer.

Always put customer satisfaction first. We apply this in every department and aim to understand how we can make this experience a positive one. The sales process goes something like this-Listen, assist, smile, follow-up, deliver, smile.

Where will you be driving your new vehicle?

Where will you be driving your new vehicle?

During your first visit, we listen to better comprehend: What you are looking for in a vehicle-gas mileage, powerful turbo engine, specific trim, gadgets, ample seating. When you are looking to make a purchase-maybe you’ve just started comparing vehicles, or maybe you’re ready to buy that day! Where you plan on taking your vehicle-weekly soccer games for your kids, trips to Ocean City or Virginia Beach, commuting to Baltimore, DC or Annapolis. And why you are looking to buy-need to upgrade to a larger vehicle to accommodate a growing family? Want a vehicle with more modern technology (OnStar, touch-screen Navigation, Sirius XM, Bluetooth connectivity)?

Once we know what your wants and needs are, our sales specialist can assist you in selecting the best vehicle. We’ll show you which vehicles we have in stock to match, or show you other possibilities that can be pre-ordered to your choosing, or delivered to us from another location to make the process most convenient. We’ll make time for a test drive (or two or three!), to allow you to acquaint yourself with the handling and comfort of the vehicle. And through everything, we’ll answer any questions you may have and provide you with additional resources-brochures, YouTube links, online reviews-to assist you in making your decision.

Smile!

Smile!

The next step is easy. We smile, we shake hands, and allow you to consider everything. Our sales specialists are not just knowledgeable about the product, but sincerely seek to earn your business by being attentive, respectful, and friendly to every customer.  It is our hope you’ll leave us with a positive understanding of who we are, and with the vehicle that’s right for you!

If you don’t leave with a car that day, our staff will follow-up with you via email or phone, whichever you prefer, to make sure you don’t miss an opportunity for special savings, more options to compare, or if someone else is looking at the same car that caught your eye last visit! We find a healthy balance between keeping you informed and knowing when it’s time to let things sink in a bit before moving forward. It is our hope that through this open approach, we will gain your confidence in us and ultimately earn your business.

The last two steps go hand in hand. After making the decision to buy a car with us, we’ll arrange a convenient day and time to deliver your vehicle at the showroom. We aim to make this process smooth and efficient, so that by the time your sparkling, new vehicle appears, we hand you your keys with a smile on our faces, and hopefully yours too.
