Special message for students (parents take note too!):
Do good grades matter to you? Are you dedicated to you school? Do you find yourself taking leadership roles? Do you volunteer regularly and offer assistance in your community? Are you college-bound this year or currently enrolled at a college or university?
Then you may be interested in applying for the 2013 Buick Achievers Scholarship Program funded by General Motors Foundation and Buick. This program is set to recognize and reward 1,100 college-bound high school seniors and current undergrads nationwide who excel both in the classroom and in the community.
As one of the nation’s largest scholarship programs, this is an excellent opportunity for students interested in Engineering, Technology, Design and Business, who lack the financial means to reach their goals.
Each year, 100 qualifying students are awarded up to $25,000 a year, renewable for up to four years. Plus another 1,000 students will get a one-time award of $2,000.
If you’re interested, applications will be accepted now through February 28, 2013 at buickachievers.com.
